2011 Chicago Marathon

We cheered on the runners at miles 10, 20, and 25 this year. After last year's race, it was wonderful to be on the other side of things; ringing bells, holding signs, shouting, and celebrating. I can't think of a more inspiring place to be than mile 25.

"If you run, you are a runner. It doesn't matter how fast or how far. It doesn't matter if today is your first day or if you've been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run." -John Bingham
